James Renner knocks it out of the park again . . . Whether he is writing about true crimes, or any genre of fiction including sci-fi, thrillers, or suspense James always adds a twist that keeps you guessing until the very end. It’s appropriate that part of this chilling novel takes place in Stephen King’s hometown of Bangor, Maine and centers around the former property of Edgar Allen Poe because this quasi-horror novel will scare you and make you self-reflect as much as any work of two literary giants. I finished it in one day and I can’t recommend it enough.
